TRG AdStudio

Privacy Policy

How TRG AdStudio handles information. Effective October 26, 2026.

TRG AdStudio is a set of advertising and market-research tools from TRG Research LLC in Orange County, California. This page covers the AdStudio product (the site, any related app, and the services behind them). The rest of trgresearch.com is a company site. If you only browse the house pages, we collect very little. If you use AdStudio, we collect what the product needs to run.

Who this is for

AdStudio is a business tool. It is meant for adults who run ads, catalogs, or research. It is not for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child gave us data, use the contact page and we will delete it.

What we collect

What we see depends on how you use the product.

  • Account. Name, email, password or sign-in token, company, and the preferences you set.
  • Notes you send. Anything you put in a form, support message, or in-product note.
  • Work you do in AdStudio. Campaigns, search terms, catalogs, drafts, uploads, and settings you create or import.
  • Connected ad accounts. If you connect Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads, or another platform, we receive the account data that connection is scoped to: account identifiers, campaign and ad performance, targeting, and related research fields. Those platforms keep their own records under their own policies.
  • Device and usage. IP address, browser or app version, device type, language, pages or screens viewed, and basic diagnostics so the product can load and we can fix it when it does not.
  • Payments. If you buy a plan, a payment processor handles card numbers. We receive the fact of a charge, the plan, and a billing email. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

We use this information to operate AdStudio: create and secure your account, show you your work, connect the ad platforms you authorize, measure and improve the product, send service mail (sign-in, receipts, material product changes), and answer you when you write. We do not use AdStudio data to build a public people database. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and similar tools

AdStudio and this site may use cookies or local storage to keep you signed in, remember a setting, and understand which screens are used. You can block cookies in the browser. The product may not stay signed in if you do. We do not run a third-party advertising pixel on the AdStudio product to sell your attention to other companies.

Who else sees it

We share information only as needed to run the product:

  • The ad platforms you connect, so the connection can work.
  • Vendors who host the app, send mail, process payments, or provide error logs. They get what they need for that job.
  • A buyer of the company, if TRG Research is sold, under this same policy until you hear otherwise.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it or if we have to protect a person or the service.

We do not sell or rent your contact list. We do not let a partner use AdStudio data to advertise their own products to you, except the platforms you already chose to connect.

How long we keep it

Account and work data stay while the account is open. If you close the account, we delete or de-identify personal data within 90 days, unless a charge, dispute, or law requires a longer hold. Backups roll off on their own cycle. Diagnostic logs are kept only as long as they help us run the product.

Security

We use standard access controls, encryption in transit, and limited staff access. No internet product is perfectly sealed. If we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you and the people the law says we must tell.

Your choices

You can update account details in the product, disconnect an ad platform, or close the account. You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. California residents, and people with similar state rights, can also ask what we collected, what we shared, and that we not sell or share personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising. To make a request, use the contact page. We will need to confirm it is you. We will not charge you or treat you worse for asking.

Other sites and platforms

Links and connected ad accounts leave our control. Amazon, Google, Meta, and any other platform you attach have their own privacy terms. Read those before you connect.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you have an AdStudio account, we will also send a note to the email on the account when the change is material.
